As the sun dipped below the Ferris wheel and floodlights flickered on around the cracked midway, the Feral Eclipse<\/strong> stage glowed with anticipation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The crowd?
Unhinged.
Sugared up.
Wearing glow-in-the-dark werewolf ears and waving foam churros like battle standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thane checked his board one last time, claws tapping across faders like he was prepping to summon a storm\u2014and in a way, he was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cCheck check. Sub\u2019s hot. Vocals tight.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Gabriel popped up mid-line check, grinning. \u201cI smell cinnamon and destiny.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thane: \u201cI smell regret.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

The lights dropped. The crowd ROARED.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band launched into their opening number, \u201cSound and Claw,\u201d<\/strong> and the place detonated.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within thirty seconds,<\/em> the first churro<\/strong> flew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then another.
Then dozens.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

Churros to the beat.
Churros in the air.
Churros bouncing off the drum riser and sticking to Jonah\u2019s kick head.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Cassie ducked one mid-verse and kept singing. Jonah caught one in his teeth like a champ. Maya batted one with the neck of her guitar.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gabriel?
Arms wide, basking in the airborne cinnamon like it was divine confetti.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYESSSSS! RAIN SWEET, MORTALS!!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Thane\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thane stood at the board like a wolf possessed, fur speckled with sugar, a single cinnamon stick lodged behind his ear like an unwanted accessory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Someone threw a sticky churro directly into one of his outboard processors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He growled<\/em> so low it shorted out two line-level signals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Then came the Goat.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right at the breakdown of \u201cFangs in Bloom,\u201d<\/strong> when Gabriel stepped to the front of the stage for his big solo\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

Princess Nugget.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Still wearing her scarf, lipstick barely intact, and Bret\u2019s band tee cut into a weird crop top<\/em>, the goat burst from stage left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fans SCREAMED.
Lights flared.
And the goat charged like a cinnamon-scented battering ram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

WHAM!!<\/em>
She slammed headfirst into Gabriel\u2019s bass amp, mid-solo.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cHEY!\u201d Gabriel yelped, stumbling.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Thane moved like lightning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the sound pit to center stage in seconds,<\/em> eyes blazing, ears back, claws out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cNOPE!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

He grabbed the goat mid-headbutt,<\/em> hoisted her into the air like a rebellious toddler with horns and eyeliner, turned on a heel, and yeeted<\/em> her \u2014 gently but firmly \u2014 off the side of the stage into a perfectly placed hay bale.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The crowd lost it.<\/em>
Screams. Cheers. Goat chants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cTHANE! THANE! THANE!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Gabriel blinked, bass still in hand, tail swishing in awe.
\u201c\u2026Dude. That was majestic.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cassie leaned into her mic with a grin. \u201cThat\u2019s why we keep him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then the band slammed<\/em> into the final chorus\u2014faster, louder, wilder than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

By the end of the set, everyone was drenched in sweat and churro goo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stage looked like a pastry war zone.
The fans?
Happier than a werewolf in a meat locker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
