Everyone was waiting to see if the wolves could actually back up the fire they\u2019d just spat in Grayson Thorne\u2019s smug face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spoiler: they could.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Backstage, Thane double-checked the signal routing with a quick flick of his claws, nodded to Mark at the lighting board, then gave Gabriel a subtle cue. Gabriel cracked his neck, stepped forward into the spotlight, and slammed into the intro riff of <em>No Chains Left.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sound was <em>thunderous.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rico and Maya flanked him with matching guitars, Cassie stepped to the mic like a queen commanding the wind itself, and Jonah \u2014 well, Jonah made the entire stage <em>shake.<\/em> Each drum hit was a sonic warhammer. The audience erupted instantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The chorus hit and the fans in the audience \u2014 already standing \u2014 were <em>singing along.<\/em> Phones were raised. Chants echoed between camera swoops. Somewhere behind the set, the audio guy from the network actually fist-pumped the air and mouthed, <em>\u201cHoly shit.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the bridge dropped into that snarling half-time breakdown, Gabriel stepped forward, tail swaying, claws gripping the mic stand, and stared <em>directly<\/em> at Grayson Thorne from across the studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He didn\u2019t say a word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He just <em>grinned<\/em> as the drop hit, and the crowd <em>lost their damn minds.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cassie\u2019s final scream hit like a blade across a still lake, and the lights went black. Silence. Beat. Then\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Standing ovation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The kind that didn\u2019t wait for permission. That didn\u2019t follow cues. That just <em>happened<\/em>, like thunder in a storm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cameras kept rolling, and the host was forced \u2014 <em>forced<\/em> \u2014 to walk back onto the stage, clapping weakly like someone whose house just got demolished by a wrecking ball he ordered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grayson stepped up, fake smile back in place, clearly trying to salvage control of the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWell, there you have it \u2014 the high-decibel, emotionally-charged Feral Eclipse. That was\u2026\u201d He glanced at his cue card, then tossed it. \u201c\u2026loud.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gabriel leaned into his mic one last time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re welcome.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The audience screamed again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cassie added, \u201cDon\u2019t worry, Grayson. You\u2019ll grow into your feelings eventually.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thane tilted his head slightly and said with quiet finality, \u201cThanks for the mic.
